Newark Fleet Operations

A 400,000 square foot vehicle command and distribution center is being designed by the firm as a possible consolidation project of the many disparate municipal facilities currently maintained by the City of Newark for its vast fleet of vehicles. Provisions include the storage of dispatch and the unique and disparate needs of over 500 vehicles ranging from all Sanitation Vehicles to Tow Trucks and Sewer Vehicles to Fire Trucks and Mobile Police Command Vehicles. The complex will also include a bridge connected 40,000 square foot office building, a fueling station, a commercial body shop and a 200 foot long truck wash tunnel.
